What is “Ten Dollar Tuesday”?
“Ten Dollar Tuesday” is an online and offline event being held November 10th to raise money and awareness for the work the AgelCares Foundation does to help children with congenital deformities.
How do I donate to “Ten Dollar Tuesday”?
Agel Team Members worldwide should log into their backoffice account (http://office.agel.com) and click the “Manage Autoship Order” link on the “Orders” Tab. They can then put the number 10 next to the AgelCares logo on that page signifying that they will contribute $10 every month to the AgelCares Foundation.
Those who are not Agel Team Members can make a one time donation of any amount at https://office.agel.com/agel_cares_donations/.
What is the “AgelCares Foundation”?
The AgelCares Foundation is a fully accredited 501c3 charity (ID #26-0703841). The AgelCares Foundation collects donated funds and coordinates the use of those funds to perform corrective surgeries on children born with congenital deformities such as cleft palates, clubfeet, or cataract occlusions in the eyes. The AgelCares Foundation currently has operations in the United States, India, Nigeria, the Philippines, and Thailand. Because the administrative costs of running the foundation are donated by Agel Enterprises, more than 95% of funds donated to AgelCares go directly to help the children. Learn more about the AgelCares Foundation at http://www.agelcares.org. See videos of some of the projects the AgelCares Foundation has undertaken here.

Agel Enterprises is the first to develop, produce and market nutritional supplements and cosmetics in gel form. The global company is headquartered in Provo, Utah and is currently operating in more than 50 countries. Learn more at http://www.agel.com.
How do I get a T-shirt?
Those who contribute at least $10 and get at least 10 friends to contribute at least $10 each will be sent a “Ten Dollar Tuesday” T-shirt after the event. T-shirts will be sent by regular mail so please allow several weeks for delivery.
Will $10 really make a difference?
YES! The doctors and practitioners who perform the corrective surgeries on the children volunteer their time and the clinics where these procedures are performed have become very efficient at these particular corrective operations. Because of that, major corrective surgeries like a cleft palate repair can cost under $40 US Dollars per child. Every $10 contribution can make a huge difference to a child in need.
Can I contribute MORE than $10?
YES! Please contribute as much as you can to these children in need. The “Ten Dollar Tuesday” event is designed to highlight the importance of small donations across a wide network of people but every level of donation will be gratefully accepted.
Can I contribute with a check, money order, or other payment method?
Please contribute with a major credit card.
Do donations HAVE to be made on November 10th?
No, donations can be made at any time. However, on November 10th we will be keeping track of donations and publicizing our milestones, so November 10th is the best day to contribute. Also, we will only be keeping track of donations for T-shirt recognition on November 10th.
Are “Ten Dollar Tuesday” contributions tax deductible?
Yes, in the United States 501c3 contributions are tax deductible. Contributors from other countries should check their local tax code to verify the status of contributions to U.S. charities.
Do I get anything for my contribution?
Those who contribute at least $10 and get at least 10 friends to contribute at least $10 each will be sent a “Ten Dollar Tuesday” T-shirt after the event. T-shirts will be sent by regular mail so please allow several weeks for delivery. Those who contribute $25 or more will be recognized on our AgelCares Donor Recognition Page: http://www.agelcares.org/donor-recognition. You also get the satisfaction of contributing to a vital cause and helping children who otherwise would go on living impaired.
What size will the T-shirts be?
All T-shirts will be Men’s size Large or Women’s size Medium.
How will you know if I’ve qualified for a T-shirt?
All contribution points (both in the Agel backoffice and on AgelCares.org) will have an optional input field for the name and city of the person who referred you to contribute. Individuals with at least 10 verified referrals at at least $10 will qualify for a T-shirt. Remember to tell all your friends to put your name and city in the optional “referral” box when making a “Ten Dollar Tuesday” contribution.
